Executive Chef
Our Head Chef, Shayne Bell, born and raised in our area, joined the Vous in the summer of 2022 and he's been busy creating a stellar kitchen crew ever since!
Shayne's favourite part of the job is seeing the smiles his food creates. With over 20 years as a chef, and a career that includes owner/chef of two unique restaurant as well as head chef at one of the largest hotels in Sault Ste Marie, he brings with him knowledge and experience unlike anyone else.
He prides himself on working hand to hand with local farmers, creating sustainable food growth for both parties. He also enjoys the wild side of cooking, wild meats that is! Don't be surprised if you see kangaroo as a feature!
Being a farm to fork kind of guy, Shayne's favourite meal consists of either one of our burgers made with beef from Gerber's Farm or a good ol' ribeye!
Dining Room Manager
Megan, our dining room manager, has been with us for almost two and a half years. She started out as a server/bartender and now makes sure the front of the house is running smoothly!
Megan knows at the heart of every good experience is customer service and takes pride in creating a team that truly appreciates each and every guest.
Megan recommends the veggie stir fry and can't wait to share some of the exciting items coming to the Vous this summer!
